For years I wanted a really good pair of binoculars that I could see really clearly from but they were pretty expensive. I had always used my Father’s that he had when he was in the Army in WWII while he was stationed in Pearl Harbor. They were heavy and focusing was a chore to say the least, but I loved using them because they were his. I still have them.
However, last year during Amazon Prime Day these Bushnell 10×42 Binoculars showed up at a really good price, so I pulled the trigger. 
Needless to say I have been nothing but impressed with these.
They are extremely easy to use. Adjusting for visual acuity in each eye is quick. I do wear contacts so my vision can vary from day to day, or hour to hour depending on humidity or lack thereof. It’s very easy to grab them and focus quickly.
As stated, they contain roof prisms. That means the glass elements are in line with each other making them easier to hold. Roof prism types are usually more expensive due to the physics involved in the design and manufacturing. They are 10X42 so they have a generous 4.2mm exit pupil diameter. Making sure you don’t feel like your looking through a peep hole. The quality of workmanship is evident as soon as you pick them up. Plus they’re 100% Waterproof so using them outdoors for any length of time is not a problem.
They are great during hiking for bird watching. I use them all the time to watch my hummingbirds out the back window as they have a short focus length as well. Big game hunters and sports fans will enjoy these. They are unlike other binoculars I’ve had the opportunity to use, especially at this price. Check them out here…
